Aliana is a creative arts facilitator who hosts in-person art workshops on Long Island, focusing on building community, promoting creativity, and inspiring self reflection.

⭐️ About Professor D ⭐️
A sociologist and local professor, Professor D is a sociologist focused on creative expression, joy in the classroom, and the sociologies of embodiment, gender, sexualities, and labor.

⭐️ About Nautilus Roasting ⭐️
Nautilus Roasting is a brick and mortar coffee shop and community space that opened in 2025. They sell vegan baked goods, teas, coffees, and more. It’s cozy, atmospheric, and decked out in colorful mural art, ornate furniture, & charming lighting, making it a wonderful space to unwind & connect.

🚗 Parking Info 🚗
The venue (Nautilus Roasting) is on the ground floor of a mixed-use building, and there are apartments above it. If you are looking at the entrance of Nautilus Roasting, to the right, there is an entrance to covered parking underneath the apartments (a ground level parking garage).

🚗: There are 10 marked cafe spaces, but you can park in any space for this event, even the ones marked GEI for the event (as this event is after GEI's business hours)

🚂: The venue (Nautilus Roasting) is also 10-minute walk from the Huntington LIRR train station!

The venue (Nautilus Roasting) is wheelchair accessible. There is a ramp from the road/parking area, and the bathroom is ADA compliant.
